How to mark the European day of Languages ?

Hello, friends!

Do you know that  26 September  is proclaimed as the European day of Languages?

My colleagues and our pupils like this holiday. It gives us the opportunity to recognize ourselves as the members of the great European community, and it is very important for people living in a small provincial town. 

It has become a tradition to celebrate  the European day of Languages with a big concert .  Our pupils, who study Russian, Ukrainian, English, German and French at school, act out funny plays, sing popular  songs, present merry dances, recite poems of famous writers with  great pleasure! 

Certainly, it wouldn’t be possible without the help of highly- qualified teachers of our  Foreign Languages Teachers’ Union.
