Hello,dear learners!
It's time to talk about adverbs . What are adverbs? These are the words which help us to describe when ( yesterday, tomorrow, ), where (here, there, near), how ( often, softly, easily) etc. something happens, happened or will happen.

Today we'll study the rules of using adverbs in English.





Adverbs usually go after verbs but before adjectives, other adverbs and participles.
Her little daughter sings wonderfully!

He lives so far from here .

Halloween. Ideas for a Kids Party

Be careful on the night of 31 October! It is Hallowe’en ( Halloween). It means “holy evening”.

This is the night when witches and ghosts come out! 

Pumpkin is one of main symbals of this holiday. People make jack-o’-lanterns cutting  the holes in pumpkins in a form of a face and put candles inside. They decorate their houses, gardens and windows with them. 

Kids  dress up in costums of ghosts,witches, sceletons,etc.  and paint their faces. They have  different street  events like pumpkin-picking, face painting, mask-making crafts, a Halloween costume shows   and Halloween parties.

 Sometimes, they go to people's houses and knock on the door, saying `Trick or treat!’ The person who opens the door must give the children a treat - some sweets or chocolate.

If not, the children play a trick on them.For example, they draw a funny picture on the door, or throw flour at the window.

This is a splendid song for teaching Halloween vocabulary!

Hello,dear friends!
Today we're going to enjoy the most gracious animals. They are horses! :)
Last summer my granddaughters travelled with me and I had the opportunity to watch how excited they were coming close to horses which were on a farm not far from our house. These pictures were taken there.
That's why I decided to post this poem and song for kids to teach them new words about horses.

3.All the proverbs state that we should be healthy and take care of our health, but sometimes people fall ill. What do we do when someone falls ill?

• We go to a policlinics or call on the doctor
• The doctor examine the patient, listen to his heart and lungs, look in his eyes and ears and diagnose the illness. Then he prescribes some medicines and gives some recommendations.

Grammar . Nouns + Verbs : Singular or Plural?

Hello, my dear learners and -I hope -friends!

Today I'd like to help you to memorize the rules of choosing singular or plural verb forms with plural nouns . This is our third lesson for studying nouns. You can lern more here #1 and #2

So,we should use singular verb forms with:

•  the names of school subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Economics,etc.               Physics is the first lesson today.

• the names of sports : gymnastics, athletics, etc.                                                       Gymnastics is my favourite kind of sport.
